What has been great to note all along this project is that it raised a
lot of interest from many different people. Thankfully, else we would have
never been able to leave South-Africa
We would like to thank in particular :
MICHELIN
http://www.michelin.com
MICHELIN is our main sponsor, and helped us with 6 brand new BF Goodrich
Mud-Terrain tyres, which are the best tyres we could expect to handle the
particularly tough road conditions we expect to encounter. They are in particular
stronger than any other tyres against side-cuts and are renown in the 4*4
industry for being highly reliable and resistant.
MICHELIN organized as well some very useful training on tyres and how to
keep them in good condition along the way.
Thanks again for believing in us !!!

us fix the car. The big repairs on the car were done there
Those guys

CAPE OFF-ROAD AND SAFARI
We planned to get various fittings installed, in particular on the roofrack
for the jerry cans and the spare tyres, as well as all the additional electrical
connections we require. They should as well do an overall check-up of the
car before leaving.

The owner, Johan KELLERMAN, gave us a hand for the equipment of the car.
And Gary HASELAY, responsible for the off-road driving teaching, gave us
a (I hope) useful off-road driving theoretical lecture before leaving. It
was initially planned to actually learn on the car, but we unfortunately
ran short of time.
